As a subconsultant to Quiring General, Provost & Pritchard assisted with the development and construction of the new two-story Sequoia Medical Center in Visalia by providing land surveying, civil engineering, and construction staking services.
The 52,132-square-foot building houses urgent care, physical therapy, and surgical offices. This project is unique because the building is a modular condominium project, where the building is divided into individually transferable cubic cells to allow for greater flexibility to meet tenant requirements.
Our design services included new water (domestic, fire service, and irrigation) and sanitary sewer services to the building, preparation of a grading plan that included blending new surface improvements into existing improvements on the east and north sides of the building, and right of way improvements along Akers Street. The grading plan met current ADA requirements for accessibility and path of travel, and design work was coordinated with Quiring General’s other building disciplines.
