FRESNO, CA: The Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group team continues to grow with the addition of two new staff members. Mary Beth Bourne, a Visalia native, will join the Visalia office as an Assistant Environmental Specialist, while Katherine Durham will join the Clovis office as an Associate Water Resources Specialist.
“We are very pleased to add these two individuals to our talented team of professionals,” said Ronald Samuelian, Provost & Pritchard’s president. “Both of them will provide valuable resources to our clients.”
Bourne, a recent graduate of Indiana University, earned a master’s degree in environmental science. Her bachelor’s degree is in biology from University of Southern California. She has experience conducting water quality monitoring in accordance with the standards of the Surface Water Ambient Monitoring Program (SWAMP) as well as conducting biosurveys in urban streams. She is also experienced in the trapping and removal of invasive aquatic species and the handling of species of special concern in California.
Durham holds a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University, and a master’s degree in water resource management from California State University, Fresno. She comes to the firm with nearly 10 years of experience in the water resources industry. Previously serving as the General Manager of the second largest Groundwater Management District in the state of Kansas, she worked alongside agencies such as the Kansas Department of Agriculture to evaluate and expand water conservation efforts throughout the region.
