FRESNO, CA: The Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group team continues to grow with the addition of five new staff members. Expanding the staff in five of the firm’s office are: Ken Bonesteel, PE, a Principal Engineer in Bakersfield; Don Groundwater, PE, a Principal Engineer in Chico; Shelley Huskey, and Associate Environmental Specialist in Clovis; Denis Roose, GISP, a Senior GIS Specialist in Fresno and Joel Svendsen, PE, a Senior Engineer in Merced
“We are very pleased to add these five individuals to our talented team of professionals,” said Ronald Samuelian, Provost & Pritchard’s president. “All are excellent additions to our team and will provide valuable resources to our clients in their offices.”
Bonesteel has worked in the water sectors of Kern County for almost 40 years. His experience includes work with the Kern Water District, Kern Water Bank Authority, Tejon Ranch and other private consulting firms. He earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from Purdue University.
Groundwater, who’s experience spans over 40 years with water districts throughout the state, recently retired from Bella Vista Water District after more than 18 years with the District. He will help the firm with water resources related projects in Northern California.
Huskey has 19 years of experience working with industrial operations in multiple industries. She has a strong background and knowledge in environmental compliance regulations. As a Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner, she has assisted different industries with storm water and wastewater discharge permit compliance
Originally from Belgium, Roose is a geographic information systems (GIS) specialist who has 30 years of GIS experience including owning his own business where he wrote and trademarked code for MapSpeller for ArcGIS. A licensed instructor for Esri, he will bring his programming skills to help strengthen the firm’s GIS capabilities.
Svendsen worked for the City of Merced for the last five years where his duties included grant writing and designing infrastructure projects. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor’s in civil and environmental engineering.
